Take me to the River Beach, in the Alentejo!

The Alentejo has a long Atlantic coast with some outstanding, untouched beaches. But, the cool, clean water doesn't stop there. New river beaches in the Alentejo are found throughout the region, often with excellent water quality, infrastructures and access.
Most of the main river beaches offer changing rooms, bathrooms, cafes and lifeguards — and many have been awarded the Blue Flag or Golden Beach recognition.
A large part of the river beaches in Alentejo exist because of recently built reservoirs and dams, but many are set in the middle of the plains and cork forests, offering a unique escape.
Some suggestions:
The River Beach of Monsaraz with a Centro Náutico de Monsaraz, is on the Great Lake of Alqueva. Open since 2017 it boasts a blue flag, is accessible and has a sandy long beachfront.
At Marvão’s Portagem Leisure Center you will find three outdoor swimming pools, changing rooms and a beach on the River Sever, all with views of the Castle of Marvão. Recently renovated with new picnic tables in the vicinity, and a workout area.
The Gameiro River Beach (Mora) was recently remodeled, and is in the Gameiro Ecological Park. It has an aquarium called the Fluviário de Mora, sandy areas, with lots of shade, a playground and a bar.  Great fishing spot, too.

The Fluvial Beach of Azenhas D`El Rei in Alandroal will open in the summer of 2022 with a safe swimming area, new parking accessibility and full cafe and changing rooms.  It will have an access ramp for boats and a mooring for boats. Enjoy the beach at Avis’ Albufeira do Maranhão, with camping, swimming pools, playground, picnic area and restaurant. Here one can also go hiking and mountain biking on trails.
A charming beach can be enjoyed in Alvito’s Odivelas Dam, with a picnic area, a cafe with a terrace and a playground. Nice setting, and clear waters.
A sandy beach in Mina de São Domingos, is not far from Mértola. The beach has a blue flag plus lifeguard coverage. You will find shade, picnic tables and outdoor barbecues. Plus a bar/restaurant, with an esplanade, overlooking a boat rental dock with canoes and pedal boats.
